When performing blepharoplasty, Dr. Asaadi can treat both the upper and lower eyelids for a balanced result. Combining upper and lower eyelid surgery can achieve a more-youthful, refreshed appearance.
Blepharoplasty can treat a variety of conditions, including drooping upper lids, under-eye bags, malar mounds, and festoons.
A trained eye and rigorous attention-to-detail are required during eyelid surgery in order to achieve a natural-looking result.
Learn more about blepharoplasty below.
Upper Blepharoplasty
Upper eyelid surgery is designed to reduce sagging or drooping skin above the lids. During upper blepharoplasty, loose skin over the lid can be repositioned or removed.
Underlying muscle can also be tightened for a firmer-looking appearance.
Lower Blepharoplasty
Lower blepharoplasty can treat puffy or bulging below the eyelids. Dr. Asaadi addresses each layer of the lower eyelids differently when performing eyelid surgery.
Lax skin and muscle are selectively tightened and repositioned in order to achieve an optimal result. Small amounts of excess fat beneath the eyelids can also be removed, if necessary.
Malar Mounds & Festoons
Dr. Asaadi also treats malar mounds and festoons, which are addressed differently than traditional eyelid surgery. A “Botox® Test” can be utilized to determine the cause of your malar bags or festoons. During this test, a small amount of Botox® is injected into the muscle around the eye, known as the orbicularis oculi. If this injection leads to a temporary worsening of your symptoms, then this shows that muscle laxity is the root cause of your malar mounds or festoons. If so, Dr. Asaadi can address the underlying ligaments within the muscle to correct these conditions. If there is no change in your malar bags or festoons after undergoing a Botox® injection, then the cause is most likely underlying fat pockets. These can be removed surgically to treat your festoon or malar mound.

MAsterTuck℠ is a specialized liposuction procedure pioneered by Dr. Asaadi himself to firm the midsection, flanks, and back. MAsterTuck℠ can remove stubborn fat and tighten lax skin to improve contours. Unlike traditional body contouring techniques, MAsterTuck℠ can firm hanging skin without having to surgically remove skin, making this procedure a minimally invasive alternative to body sculpting surgery. Learn more about MAsterTuck℠ below.
How Does MAsterTuck℠ Work?
MAsterTuck℠ is a truncal liposuction procedure that uses VASER® LipoSelection to remove unwanted fat deposits from the abdomen, flanks, and lower back. During this procedure, a cannula is introduced beneath the skin to gently remove fat cells from the body. Energy from the VASER® Lipo cannula also tightens skin around the treatment area(s) and encourages the production of new collagen fibers beneath the skin, leading to gradual improvements in skin structure and elasticity.
What Kind Of MAsterTuck℠ Results Can I Expect?
MAsterTuck℠ patients can expect long-lasting results. MAsterTuck℠ can contour the midsection, flanks, and back, reduce love handles, and tighten hanging skin in one minimally invasive procedure. Patients can expect to see full results in the months following MAsterTuck℠ treatment.
Who Are Ideal Candidates For MAsterTuck℠?
If you are experiencing mild-to-moderate sagging around the midsection, flanks, or back or are bothered by unwanted fat pockets around these areas, then MAsterTuck℠ may be right for you. MAsterTuck℠ candidates should be at a relatively healthy weight, as MAsterTuck℠ is not meant to be a weight loss procedure. Additionally, MAsterTuck℠ is not designed to tighten loose or stretched abdominal muscles, as this is reserved for tummy tuck surgery. Your plastic surgeon can discuss if MAsterTuck℠ is an ideal procedure for you.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about MAsterTuck℠, as well as our other body contouring procedures. Contact our New Jersey office at 973.731.7000, our New York office at 212-938-0158, or you may request an appointment online today!

Improve facial contours by combining rhinoplasty with chin augmentation! The nose and chin are two of the most prominent facial features. Nose surgery and chin implants work together to add natural-looking definition to the entire facial profile for a more youthful appearance. These facial surgery techniques can also enhance facial symmetry by improving the shape of your nose and jawline.
Nose Surgery
Rhinoplasty can target all aspects of the nose to enhance shape, including the nose bridge, tip, and nostrils. Nose surgery can correct bumps or crookedness for a more balanced profile. During rhinoplasty surgery, nose cartilage is carefully reshaped and repositioned to achieve symmetry. Patients who have suffered facial trauma that has affected their nose shape can also opt for rhinoplasty to reconstruct the nose. Additionally, nose surgery can improve certain breathing problems, including a deviated septum, to improve functionality. Rhinoplasty surgery is designed to provide long-term results for patients.
Chin Augmentation
Chin augmentation can enhance a rounded chin and add definition to the jawline. Chin implants add fullness to the chin to improve facial contours. Chin implants are available in different shapes and sizes in order to best fit your individual profile. Your chin implant will be placed through a small incision made underneath the chin. Chin augmentation can provide long-lasting, natural-looking results.

Rejuvenate your appearance with the latest cosmetic fillers! Volbella®, Voluma®, and Belotero® can each reduce the signs of aging in different ways. Voluma® can treat hollowing of the mid-face, while Belotero® and Volbella® can address smile lines, as well as wrinkles around the eyes. These treatments can be completed in-office and require no recovery time. Learn more about these cosmetic fillers below.
Volbella®
Volbella® is a specially designed dermal filler that can add volume to the lips and improve smile lines. Made from hyaluronic acid (a naturally occurring substance found in your body), Volbella® can be safely injected into the lips to add volume and achieve a more plump appearance. Additionally, your plastic surgeon can inject Volbella® into wrinkles around the mouth, including smile lines, to add natural-looking fullness to the mid-face.
Voluma®
Voluma® is a hyaluronic acid filler that can add definition to the cheeks. Voluma® has a firmer consistency than other cosmetic fillers and can be injected deeper into the skin to provide longer-lasting volume. Voluma® can be inserted into the cheeks to reduce hollowness and lift flat cheeks.
Belotero®
Belotero® is a lighter cosmetic filler made from hyaluronic acid that can improve fine lines and marionette lines around the eyes and mouth. Belotero® is softer than most dermal fillers, making it an ideal option to smooth superficial facial lines found around the mouth, lips, and eyes. Belotero® can be injected close to the surface of the skin to add natural-looking volume.
Which Cosmetic Filler Is Right For Me?
Your plastic surgeon can discuss which dermal filler will best fit your procedure goals during your consultation. Choosing a skilled, experienced plastic surgeon is important when considering cosmetic fillers in order to achieve ideal results. Each patient’s facial structure is unique and an advanced understanding of the facial anatomy is required to administer dermal fillers.
Volbella®, Voluma®, and Belotero® can each achieve natural-looking results that may last years. Follow-up treatments are required to maintain your youthful-looking results.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about Volbella®, Voluma®, and Belotero® treatment, as well as any of our other cosmetic injectables. Contact our New Jersey office at 973.731.7000, our New York office at 212-938-0158, or you may request an appointment online today!

Kybella® is the first FDA-approved non-invasive treatment for double chin. This innovative procedure can eliminate excess fat cells under the chin that take away from jawline definition. Unlike traditional facial surgery, Kybella® treatments can be completed in less than 20 minutes and patients experience little to no recovery time. New York and New Jersey patients looking to improve facial contours can undergo Kybella® treatment at Asaadi Plastic Surgery for natural-looking results.
How Does Kybella® Treat Double Chin?
Kybella® is made from deoxycholic acid, which is a naturally occurring substance in your body that aids in the processing and absorption of fat cells. Kybella® is carefully injected into the submental area (the area below the chin). Once injected, the Kybella® solution begins breaking down excess fat cells, resulting in their gradual removal from your body. Kybella® will be injected evenly around the treatment area to achieve a symmetrical result.
Am I An Ideal Candidate For Kybella®?
If you have excess fat around the upper neck that is contributing to a double chin, then Kybella® may be right for you. This non-surgical fat reduction procedure can eliminate stubborn fat below the jawline for a more contoured chin. Both men and women can undergo Kybella® treatment.
Is There Healing Time?
Since Kybella® is a non-surgical procedure, there is virtually no healing time required. Patients may experience some mild bruising or swelling, which should dissipate after a few days. Many Kybella® patients return to their daily routine immediately after completing treatment.
How Many Kybella® Treatments Will I Need?
The specific number of Kybella® treatments will ultimately vary by patient. A series of 2-6 sessions may be recommended for optimal results. Each Kybella® session lasts as little as 20 minutes and treatments are scheduled approximately 4 weeks apart.
Are Results Long-Lasting?
Kybella® can achieve long-lasting facial rejuvenation results by removing unwanted fat cells from the submental area. Patients are recommended to follow a consistent diet and exercise routine to help maintain their Kybella® results.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about Kybella® treatment. Contact our New Jersey office at 973.731.7000, our New York office at 212-938-0158, or you may request an appointment online today!
