Eyelid surgery, which is also commonly referred to as blepharoplasty, can rejuvenate the eyes for a younger-looking appearance. With age, many patients may notice that their upper or lower eyelids begin to sag and droop. Wrinkling around the eyes can cause a person to look tired and appear older than they actually are. In more severe cases, lax skin on the upper eyelid can even impair vision.
Dr. Asaadi offers blepharoplasty to treat a variety of conditions related to the lower and upper eyelids. Some of the most common issues treated during eyelid surgery include improving festoons, malar bags, and eyelid ptosis.
Blepharoplasty Benefits
-
Restores A Youthful-Looking Appearance
-
Removes Excess Tissues & Skin
-
Effective Treatment For The Upper & Lower Eyelids
-
Discretely Placed Incisions
-
Long-Lasting, Natural-Looking Results
Eyelid Surgery For Festoons
Festoons form under the lower eyelid and are often caused by aging, excessive sun exposure, or smoking. Festoons cause the skin beneath the lower eyelid to sag, wrinkle, and crease. Some refer to the appearance of a festoon as a drape of skin that wrinkles and sits above the cheek bone. Lower eyelid surgery can correct festoons by removing this excess skin and restoring a smoother appearance to thenderneath the lower eyelid.
Eyelid Surgery For Malar Bags
Similar to festoons, malar bags develop beneath the lower eyelid and cause puffiness and undereye bags. The main difference between a festoon and a malar bag is that festoons form wrinkles, whereas malar bags are smooth, puffy mounds that rest below the lower eyelid. In cases of malar bags, blepharoplasty can correct this puffiness by removing excess skin that is causing a tired-looking appearance.
Blepharoplasty For Eyelid Ptosis
Eyelid ptosis is most commonly referred to as sagging eyelids. This lax skin can cause wrinkles and creases to form above the eyes. In severe cases, eyelid ptosis can even hinder vision when sagging skin begins to hang over the eyelashes. Eyelid surgery can restore your field of vision by removing excess skin and tissue from the upper eyelid with discreet incisions.

With age, you may notice that your jawline and neck begin to sag and lose definition.
Excess fat, lax skin, and prominent neck bands known as the platysmal bands can all contribute to an older-looking appearance and neck.
A neck lift can remove excess skin and fat while tightening the underlying muscles for a more contoured neck line.
Causes Of A Sagging Neck
Many patients begin to notice lax neck skin as one of the first signs of aging as they get older. The most common cause of neck sagging is aging. As you age, the skin of the neck begins to lose its elasticity and collagen, resulting in loose skin.
The loss of healthy fat deposits can cause the skin of the neck to become lax and the bands of the neck to become more noticeable.
Additionally, some patients struggle with excess fullness under the chin that can cause neck contours to become less defined.
Neck Lift Overview
Neck lift surgery can accentuate the jawline and facial profile by improving contours of the neck and lower face. A neck lift can remove excess fat, tissues, and skin from the neck and tighten the underlying muscles for a more defined appearance.
Common Reasons For A Neck Lift:
-
Loose Skin
-
Reduced Skin Elasticity & Collagen
-
A Loss Of Healthy Fat Deposits
-
Prominent Platysmal Neck Bands
-
Excess Fullness Under The Chin
Neck Lift Surgery Benefits
A neck lift can remove excess skin from the neck while redraping the remaining skin for a more contoured, youthful-looking appearance. During a neck lift, the incisions are placed discretely below the chin. In many cases, a neck lift is combined with a facelift for the most youthful-looking facial rejuvenation results possible.
Benefits Of A Neck Lift:
-
Removes Excess Skin
-
Contours The Neck
-
Treats Excess Neck Fullness
-
Discrete Incisions
-
Often Combined With A Facelift

While childbirth is a rewarding experience for mothers, it can take a drastic toll on their bodies.
A mommy makeover is a combination of plastic surgery procedures performed to restore a mother’s curves back to what they were prior to giving birth.
Mommy makeover surgery is recommended for women who do not plan to have any more children and are looking to improve their figure.
Common Mommy Makeover Procedures
Some of the most common mommy makeover procedures include breast enhancement, liposuction, and a tummy tuck.
While these procedures are most commonly performed, a mommy makeover is fully customizable to the unique treatment goals of each patient.
During your consultation, Dr. Asaadi can help you create an individualized mommy makeover treatment that targets all areas of concern.
Breast Enhancement
In the majority of mommy makeovers, breast enhancement is typically performed. Breast enhancement surgery can include breast augmentation, breast reduction, or a breast lift. Some patients often choose to combine multiple breast enhancement procedures during their mommy makeover for the most youthful-looking results possible.
Common Breast Enhancement Procedures:
Liposuction
Liposuction is an effective way to remove stubborn fat deposits from the abdomen as well as the thighs, legs, arms, and more. With advancements in technology, there are many liposuction techniques that each have a unique advantage. Some of our most popular liposuction techniques include tumescent liposuction, super-wet liposuction, and VASER® LipoSelection.
Tumescent liposuction uses a small cannula underneath the skin to break fat deposits up and safely remove them from the body. Similar to tumescent liposuction, super-wet liposuction uses a small cannula to remove fat deposits. Super-wet liposuction can reduce overall procedure time as it uses less fluid during treatment. Finally, VASER® LipoSelection is a minimally invasive liposuction technique that uses ultrasound technology to remove fat and tighten loose skin.
Common Liposuction Procedures:
Tummy Tuck
Tummy tuck surgery, which is also known as abdominoplasty, is a body contouring surgery that can remove excess fat and skin from the stomach while tightening the underlying abdominal muscles. At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we offer traditional tummy tuck surgery and CORE Abdominoplasty℠.
Tummy tuck surgery can help achieve a slimmer waistline and is often combined with abdominal liposuction to remove stubborn fat deposits. CORE Abdominoplasty℠ is a revolutionary tummy tuck procedure where patients are positioned at a 45° angle during surgery. This allows Dr. Asaadi to further tighten weakened abdominal muscles.
Common Abdominoplasty Procedures:
Customize Your Mommy Makeover
While breast enhancement, liposuction, and tummy tuck procedures are commonly performed during a mommy makeover, patients can create their own treatment plan with the help of Dr. Asaadi. Additional procedures that patients may choose to undergo during a mommy makeover include a thigh lift, arm lift, and labiaplasty. Some patients also choose to combine non-invasive treatments or cosmetic injectables to further improve their mommy makeover results.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about a mommy makeover, as well as our other plastic surgery procedures. Contact our New Jersey office at 913.731.7000, our New York office at 212.938.0158, or you may request an appointment online today!

Breast augmentation is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures. Breast augmentation uses breast implants to improve the shape, size, and symmetry of the breasts.
While breast implants are long-lasting, some patients may choose to undergo breast implant replacement. Breast implant replacement is performed to remove breast implants and exchange them for a new pair of breast implants.
When Should I Consider Breast Implant Replacement?
In the majority of cases, breast implant replacement is performed to correct minor cosmetic concerns a patient may have with their breast implants.
On the other hand, breast implant replacement is sometimes performed to treat a medical complication related to breast implants, such as capsular contracture or breast implant rupture.
While medical complications due to breast implants are possible, Dr. Asaadi has a 100% success rate of no capsular contracture or implant rupture throughout his career.
Exchange Silicone Breast Implants To Saline Breast Implants
At Asaadi Plastic Surgery, we only offer saline breast implants. Saline implants provide more natural-looking results and have been proven to be a safer and more effective option. Many patients choose to remove their silicone breast implants and replace them with saline breast implants for the most natural-looking results possible.
Increase Breast Implant Size
Breast implant replacement can be performed if a patient desires larger breasts. During this procedure, the current breast implants are removed and replaced with larger breast implants to help patients achieve their treatment goals.
Decrease Breast Implant Size
In some cases, patients may decide they wish to have smaller breasts. Patients who have lost a signifigant amount of weight for example may feel that their current breast implants no longer complement their figure as well as they once have. To correct this, Dr. Asaadi can remove breast implants and replace them with smaller breast implants to better fit a patient’s figure.
Improve Results From A Previous Surgeon
Sometimes, patients are unsatisfied with their breast implant results from a previous plastic surgeon. Dr. Asaadi offers breast implant revision with breast implant replacement to correct any unnatural-looking results from a previous procedure.
Treat A Breast Implant Rupture
Breast implant replacement surgery is sometimes performed for medical concerns, such as treating a breast implant rupture. A breast implant may rupture or leak following a fall or accident. Damaged implants can be removed and replaced, or simply removed.
Correct Capsular Contracture
Capsular contracture is a medical condition where tissue around the breast implant tightens and becomes too firm. To treat capsular contracture, the breast implants must be removed completly or removed and replaced with new breast implants.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about breast implant replacement, as well as our other breast enhancement procedures. Contact our New Jersey office at 913.731.7000, our New York office at 212.938.0158, or you may request an appointment online today!
