If you are dissatisfied with your results following primary rhinoplasty, or if nasal deformities are preventing you from breathing efficiently, you may opt for revision rhinoplasty to correct your results. Revision rhinoplasty can reshape and correct asymmetries of the nose, enhance nose shape, and alleviate breathing problems caused by scar tissue or a deviated septum.
How Is Revision Rhinoplasty Performed?
Revision, or secondary rhinoplasty presents a greater set of challenges than primary rhinoplasty, as there is often scar tissue and insufficient cartilage within the nose. Internal scarring can narrow the airway, which will be sculpted and widened during your surgery.
Damaged cartilage can also create a lack of structural support in the nose, and in order to restore structure, cartilage may be removed from the ear, or less commonly, the rib.
Surgical revision rhinoplasty may be performed using the closed or open rhinoplasty techniques, depending on the correction required. In the closed technique, all incisions are made inside the nostrils, while with the open technique, an additional incision is made across the columella (the small tissue that links the nasal tip to the nasal base). These methods minimize the development of further scar tissue.
Non-surgical revision rhinoplasty utilizes non-invasive cosmetic fillers to enhance nose size and shape for those who are not experiencing challenges with breathing, and want to supplement the results of their primary rhinoplasty.
Revision Rhinoplasty Recovery
Immediately following revision rhinoplasty, strenuous activities such as bending over, exercise, and housework should be avoided.
Those who undergo non-surgical revision rhinoplasty can return to their daily activities immediately following the procedure.

As the New Year approaches, many are setting the goal to lose weight and improve their health. While losing weight can be a great accomplishment when done properly, many don’t anticipate the new challenges that may come after major weight loss, such as excess and stretched skin. If you find excess and loose skin overshadows your weight loss results, body lift surgery may be the perfect option for you to achieve the goals you set out for.
What Is A Body Lift?
Body lift surgery, is designed to firm and tighten body contours by removing excess skin and reshaping underlying tissue supporting skin and fat. A body lift may incorporate a variety of procedures to target different areas, including the abdomen, buttocks, arms, and thighs.
Arm Lift Following Major Weight Loss
Arm lift surgery after weight loss is designed to treat loose skin and excess fat in the upper arms to create a slimmer shape. Dr. Mokhtar Asaadi utilizes the specialized avulsion arm therapy which combines liposuction and arm lift surgery.
This ensures that pockets of excess fat are gently extracted, there is no trauma to blood vessels, little to no scarring is produced, and arm contours appear more natural.
Tummy Tuck To Tighten The Abdomen After Weight Loss
Tummy tuck surgery, or abdominoplasty, is one of the most sought out procedures following major weight loss. Tummy tuck can treat lax skin and excess abdominal bulging by tightening abdominal muscles and removing excess skin.
During a tummy tuck, Dr. Asaadi is also able to focus on specific trouble areas in the abdominal region by using his CORE Abdominoplasty℠ method. With this method, the back of the operating table is raised to a 45° angle so abdominal bulging can be more easily identified and treated.
Thigh Lift Post Weight Loss
Thigh lift surgery can reshape the thighs by removing excess skin and fat, creating a smoother and more youthful appearance in the thighs and buttocks. During a thigh lift, excess skin is removed from the inner, mid, and outer thighs, as well as the buttocks to provide an even improvement of contours across the lower body.
Thigh lift surgery can also be combined with other body contouring techniques, such as liposuction, to achieve natural-looking contours.
Dr. Asaadi and our staff welcome any questions you may have about arm lift, tummy tuck, thigh lift, and body lift surgeries, as well as our other body contouring procedures. The loss of elasticity in the skin and youthful contours in the face are natural signs of aging, but certain factors such as sun damage and stress, can make these symptoms worse or make us feel as if our appearance doesn’t match how we feel internally.
Facelift surgery and neck lift surgery can improve visible signs of aging, creating a more youthful profile and taking years off your appearance.
What Is A Facelift?
A facelift, also known as a rhytidectomy, is a cosmetic surgery procedure designed to give a more youthful facial appearance.
During a facelift, incisions begin in the hairline at the temples and extend down around the ear, ending at the lower hairline. The facial skin is repositioned, and excess fat may be removed or redistributed to sculpt and improve facial contours.
Dr. Asaadi will also ask his facelift patients to bring a photo of themselves when they were younger, so he can work with you achieve your desired results.
What Is A Neck Lift?
Facelift surgery is often paired with a neck lift, designed to address sagging jowls, loose neck skin, and pockets of fat around the neck and underneath the chin.
With a neck lift, an incision is made below the chin, and like facelift surgery, excess skin and fat is removed or repositioned. The platysma bands in the neck may also be corrected to create a smoother-looking neck.
Who Should Get Facelift/Neck Lift Surgery?
Ideal candidates for facelift and neck lift surgery are those looking to improve sagging around the face and neck. A facelift and neck lift can reduce facial wrinkles, skin laxity, and fine lines, creating long-lasting improvements to the facial profile. Although these procedures are not designed to stop the natural aging process, the results from facelift and neck lift surgery can be long-lasting when performed by a skilled plastic surgeon.

Losing a significant amount of weight and following a newfound healthy lifestyle can make you feel good and improve your well-being.
But after major weight loss, many men find themselves facing new struggles such as loose skin, weakened stomach muscles, and stretch marks that can obstruct results and deter confidence, despite all of their hard work.
If you find yourself in this position, procedures such as tummy tuck surgery and liposuction may be the answer to firm-up your body and reveal the true results of your efforts.
What is a Tummy Tuck?
Ideal for men who have undergone significant weight loss, tummy tuck surgery, or abdominoplasty, is designed to tighten and reposition stretched abdominal muscles and remove excess skin from the midsection.
During a tummy tuck, the muscles of the abdomen are repaired and repositioned, while excess skin is removed, creating a firmer and slimmer waistline.
In order to achieve the most substantial results with a tummy tuck, Dr. Mohktar Asaadi pioneered the CORE Abdominoplasty℠ technique.
With this technique, the operating table is raised to a 45° angle so prominent areas of abdominal bulging can be more easily identified and treated.
What is Liposuction?
Liposuction is often combined with tummy tuck surgery to supplement results and further enhance body contours. There are multiple liposuction options offered, each of which removes stubborn fat in target areas at varying levels of invasiveness. Dr. Asaadi can help you decide which procedure will be most beneficial to your specific needs prior to treatment.
What Results Can I Expect After a Tummy Tuck and Liposuction?
Combining tummy tuck and liposuction procedures can achieve long-lasting, natural-looking results. Patients can expect the reduction of fat and a slimmer appearance across the midsection. Additionally, all incisions are carefully place to ensure post-procedure scars remain virtually unnoticeable.

As we age, our skin begins to lose elasticity, resulting in sagging on the arms, legs, face, and neck. All of these changes, but especially those in our face, can make us feel self-conscious about our appearance, and impact how others perceive us. Transformations in one of our most emotive features, our eyes, are especially capable of making us look older or tired.
As one of the most important features for communication and connection, it is essential we feel confident in the appearance of our eyes. For drooping, puffy, and tired eyes, eyelid surgery, or blepharoplasty, can rejuvenate the eyes for a youthful-looking appearance.
What Is Eyelid Surgery?
Eyelid surgery is designed to tighten the skin around the eyes and remove malar mounds, or bags around the lower eyelid. Sagging skin of the upper and lower eyelids is tightened by separating fatty tissue and muscle, and trimming away any excess skin.
The sensitive skin of the lower eyelids requires additional precision in the reshaping and repositioning of the skin to remove a puffy or hollow appearance. Alongside eyelid surgery, festoons, or puffy bags under the eye, may be surgically removed to provide a more complete revitalization of the eyes.
Festoons are typically caused by excess fat deposits or muscle laxity, and after determining the cause of your malar bags, Dr. Asaadi can directly address the source by removing fat deposits underneath the eye, or by releasing the ligaments of the surrounding eye muscles.
How Are Under Eye Bags Diagnosed?
Malar bags or festoons typically have one of two causes: excess fat deposits or muscle laxity. In order to diagnose the cause of malar bags, Dr. Asaadi pioneered the “Botox ® Test ”, during which a small amount of Botox® is injected into the orbicularis oculi (the muscle surrounding the eye), and the response to the injection is measured. A worsening of festoons indicates the likely cause is muscle laxity, while no change in the appearance of malar bags indicates that the presence of excess fat is the probable source.
The drooping skin and excess fat treated during eyelid surgery can provide a long-lasting enhancement in the appearance of the eyelids, and help achieve a natural, more youthful appearance. Incisions are also placed in the natural creases of the eyelids to ensure any post-procedure scarring remains concealed.
